Mike Kegley | Founder

A graduate of the University of Kentucky, and a Veteran, Mike Kegley has over 30 years of experience as a C- level executive in multiple business sectors including banking, healthcare, wholesale distribution, software sales, and services delivery. With adult children involved in the racing industry, he eagerly invested in MediVet Equine, which was created in 2013 to manufacture and distribute scientifically based biological therapeutics for performance horses. Shortly after he retired from fulltime business in 2016, MediVet Equine had grown to the point it needed experienced leadership at the helm and he assumed the role of CEO in 2017. In that role he guides the salesforce, manages the company’s finances and engages with clients.


Jeremy Delk | Founder

Jeremy Delk has been a successful entrepreneur for over a decade, with a keen eye for innovative new products, technologies and unexploited market niches. He utilized the financial acumen he gained in the financial sector, with Fidelity Investments, while working in both Boston and NYC, to incorporate Delk Enterprises in 2002. With the growth of Delk Enterprises, Mr. Delk made the decision to move back to his native Kentucky focusing on the growth of his company. Over time, Mr. Delk expanded Delk Enterprises from primarily a real estate holdings firm to a diversified private equity portfolio including equity holdings in animal health, sports medicine, human health care, pharmacy & creating access to future IP through strategic investments in technology and human health R&D initiatives. Today positively disrupting healthcare through portfolio companies and other strategic investments is where his primary focus lies. His expertise and experience in the world of biological therapeutics has guided the scientific investments MediVet Equine has made and continues to make.


Michael Kegley, Jr. | Director of Sales

Michael lives in Lexington KY, where he attended the University of Kentucky. Both during and after college, he spent eight years working for Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital. At RREH, he gained valuable knowledge and experience in the care of horses, but also was afforded the opportunity to learn, and contribute, in many areas of the operation. During those years Michael also had the opportunity to work the Keeneland and Fasig Tipton Sales, as well as being an equine first responder during events at the Kentucky Horse Park. Prior to heading the sales and education arm of MediVet Equine, Michael served as General Manager of the Equine Sports Science Institute. ESSI’s team was made up of a veterinarian, an equine sport physiologist, a nutritionist, a pharmacologist, a toxicologist, and an accomplished thoroughbred trainer. They worked together to provide an evidence-based approach to thoroughbred racehorse training and management. Michael manages sales for MediVet Equine and is a subject matter expert on our products.


Benjamin Cloud | Laboratory Services

Ben is a native of Indiana with an undergraduate degree in Biology and Environmental Services from Manchester University. He recently completed his Master’s Degree from the University of Kentucky studying Wildlife Health and Behavior, during which he gained extensive experience in laboratory procedures and maintenance of laboratory equipment. Ben is a subject matter expert in Cell Culture & Aseptic Technique.


Blaire Arney | Equine Product Research & Development

Blair has a Master’s Degree in Veterinary Science from the Gluck Equine Research Center at the University of Kentucky. Her thesis involved characterizing carrier proteins as potential biomarkers for anabolic steroid abuse in the horse. In June of 2018, Blaire joined MediVet Equine sister company, Tailor Made Compounding, as a sterile compounding technician. Utilizing her experience in sterile compounding procedure and her educational background, she is now spearheading equine product research and development.
